Northeast Pennsylvania, Our Playground
We call Northeast Pennsylvania "home". I've lived here most of my life and my children were all born here. This is all they know and, until recently, it's been all I've really known aside from travel through many of the Eastern states. We can usually be found hiking one of the fantastic nature trails on the weekends looking for scenic views like the one shown above taken on a quest at the Glen Onoko Trails near Jim Thorpe, PA. Our Mother's Day 2014 hike was one I will not forget!
Right in the Back Yard!?
Here are some places that we visit regularly for our outdoor adventures! Mostly of the FREE variety, but a few additional places that are a great value to visit!

Bucket List
Where do you want to go that you've never been? Oh, only....EVERYWHERE! With the help of a nifty little app called Roadtrippers, the kids and I have been exploring the map of the USA and pinpointing places we would love to visit if the opportunity arises. We have a very long list of things to see and hope that one day we can take one great big trip to see it all!

Wineries.... Few things beat the atmosphere of a winery and a tasting when you have an afternoon to relax. Here are a few worth your time!
